ENDOWED LECTURE SERIES at Lauritzen Gardens

In 2007, the Loveland Garden Club created the Endowed Lecture Series with an original pledge of $25,000. Today, the endowment has exceeded over $100,000 and continues to bring thought leaders to Omaha’s Lauritzen Gardens providing education and discussion on topics relevant to horticulture, gardening and conservation. The LGC Endowed Lecture Series is a biannual event.

The Loveland Garden Club Lecture Series at Lauritzen Gardens is a permanent project of Loveland Garden Club.

ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENT

Each year, Loveland Garden Club hosts an annual fundraising event.

Funds raised support our Lauritzen Gardens Endowed Lecture Series & other LGC Community Projects such as Pacific Preserve, the Methodist/Children’s Rooftop Garden, The Sheltering Tree and JP Lord School Sensory Gardens, and providing garden tools for Habitat for Humanity new homeowners.

The annual meeting held each May for the purpose of the election of Directors, Executive Committee and sub-committees. At this meeting, members are recognized with awards for the previous year’s work. Provisional members are introduced.

ANNUAL HOLIDAY BRUNCH

Each December, the Loveland Garden Club’s monthly meeting takes place as a holiday brunch at a members’ home. LGC members meet to socialize and spread holiday cheer.
