The Horticultural Committee met to plant blue sage seedlings to give to members at the annual meeting. Members learned about potting soil, containers, care and watering and the best timing for planting. Thanks for Patti B. for hosting this event!

Loveland Garden Club is pleased to announce that member, Addie Kinghorn has been awarded the AHS 2012 Great American Gardeners National Teaching Award. Addie, a horticulture instructor for more than 25 years at the Metro Community College in Omaha, has taught and mentored many students. Addie is the editor of Nature’s Companion and has served as a Midwest contributor for Fine Gardening. Congratulations Addie!
